'howl!' was first discussed at the onset of mouthpeace

in august of 2013. the ensuing project was a

celebration of our old stomping grounds;

the Newtown Teen Center.

 

 

 the very purpose of 'howl!' is to enjoy the art of spoken word and storytelling, though these sometimes overlap with music and performance.

 

 

the show in october brought everyone back to the drawingboard to make tough decisions about what the future would hold for mouthpeace in general. 

 

we looked back on our local success, and asked ourselves, 

what else could we offer our neighbors?
